Hot Water

The internet cafe I am in now is really a corner store selling alpaca hats and slightly out of place knitted tapestries with cats on them. It is far far too expensive, and I am writing now just enough to know my fingers (sun-burnt and slightly arthritic-feeling as they are) will still cooperate. What an adventure I have had!
Arrived half an hour ago in a tourist-ville called Aguas Calientes, or "Hot Water". Tomorrow to Machu Picchu. Might be excited about that if I were not so very tired. I am not actually telling this story now, but suffice it to say we were supposed to finish our trek this morning around 10, and instead stumbled into Ollantaytambo only minutes before our train at 2:50, having added an extra 11 KM to our two and a half day hike. Should anyone actually be reading this, sorry for the technical difficulties this week. Not sure what happened, but we are back on line. Now going for a shower. Oh happy day.
